Top 2 Tilt Plus Indicator: Leaning Label Plus & TiltWatch Plus
When you do research into this market, TiltWatch Plus by Spotsee and Leaning Label Plus by WAN-YO are the most common to see in the market. The reason is the patent of the products so that competitors cannot move into the market easily. Certainly, an exclusion in the Chinese market due to the fragility of patent protection.
Here’s the spec table that some info cites from their official document. The major difference marks in RED. LL+ provides two 30 degrees detection since it has a ‘start’ section than TW+. The shelf life of LL+ is 1 year more.

How to use a TiltWatch Plus label and LL+ tilt indicator?
Use both TW+ and LL+ in the same way.
- Peel off the back liner and Keep it upright.
- Place it in the lower corner and press firmly.
- Place the companion label next to the indicator and mark the unacceptable degrees.
One indicator monitors one plane of the container, so it’s highly recommended to place another indicator on the adjacent side of the one just applied to monitor all planes.

How does TiltWatch Plus and LL+ work?
Once the adhesive liners are removed, the TiltWatch Plus and LL+ are armed. When a shipment is tilted over 30°(for LL+)/40°(for TW+) or upended, the ball rolls into the next. Indicators will show the angle, direction of tilt and/or if upended by where the ball.
The start point of LL+ is below 30° degree, so it can distinguish if the shipment has been tilted over 30° degree, in the contrary, TW+ starts at 30° degree which can tell if it has been tilted over 40° degree.
The design seems simple, however, both TW+ and LL+ prevent tampering by hand. As you watched in the YouTube video, if someone tries to roll the ball back to the beginning, another ball rolls into the last which still indicates an unacceptable tilt level to the shipment. The material of the balls cannot be reset by magnet either. They can perfectly work in good order.

How do you read a TiltWatch Plus and LL+?
There are 3 separate indicators in an indicator: Two that determine the angle and direction of the tilt, and one that indicates whether a complete overturn has occurred.
Indicators show the angle, direction of tilt and/or if upended by where the ball. For example, you see the ball is at 80° degree which means this shipment is tilted over 80° degree, meanwhile, you need to check what degree is indicated on the companion label, and you need to mark on the bill of lading before receipt if the shipment has been tilted past indicated degrees.
